The Nigerian Union of Practitioners of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, NUPCAM, has elected the chief medical director of Ayodele Psychotherapy Centre, Dr. Isaac Ayodele as the chairman of its Lagos chapter.
Dr. Ayodele, a renowned naturopath who is also the chief medical consultant at Ayodele Herbals, Lagos, Psychometric Hub International and a member of NUPCAM’s Board of Trustees, will work with Dr. Celestine Dike, who was elected its vice-chairman and Dr. Oluwaseun Olagoroye, as secretary.
Also elected were Dr. Awuto Peace and Dr. Glory Ezinne Chikezie, who are the new treasurer and PRO respectively.
While the new vice-chairman is a homeopath, Dr. Olagoroye is also a naturopath cum pharmacognosy practitioner. Both Dr. Chikezie and Dr. Peace are into acupuncture practice.
NUPCAM is endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Health as the umbrella body for all practitioners of Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Nigeria.
